We are very excited to shine today’s Picazzo’s customer spotlight on Marie, a regular in our Tempe store and a member of the Picazzo’s family. Like many of our loyal customers, Marie first fell in love with Picazzo’s when visiting our first location in Sedona. She and her boyfriend have been fans of Picazzo’s for more than ten years.
A Gluten Free Menu in Tempe!
After discovering Picazzo’s on a trip up north, the couple was very excited when we opened our Tempe location just minutes from their home. At that time Marie’s boyfriend had been diagnosed with celiac disease so they were naturally excited to have easy access to our extensive gluten free menu in Tempe.
In May of 2013 Marie began to experience health issues. After losing a significant amount of weight and feeling extreme constant fatigue, Marie visited her doctor. It was at that time that she and was diagnosed with celiac in addition to other complications. Needless to say, this was a life altering discovery. Marie was told to avoid gluten at all costs. Not only in her diet but she even had to watch for gluten in everything from lipstick to toothpaste.
After her diagnosis, Marie and her boyfriend began to visit Picazzo’s Tempe with even more regularity. They feel comfortable dinning with us because they trust that we maintain a gluten free kitchen and appreciate that we are willing to accommodate virtually any request. Today Marie and her boyfriend dine with us almost every Friday evening and oftentimes throughout the week. They are always eager to bring out of town guests to experience our menu and meet their extended Picazzo’s family.
