Picazzo’s Healthy Organic Italian Kitchen is proudly partnering with Beyond-Autism.
Beyond Autism is a non-profit school in Scottsdale, AZ dedicated to educating children diagnosed with autism. It is a movement that bridges the school experience with home life by not only teaching students academics, but also social & life skills.
Michelle Puopolo, Executive Director of Beyond-Autism is very excited and grateful to be joining with Picazzo’s and our staff. Chris Disney, Operations Director for Picazzo’s was instrumental in seeking out and setting up this beautiful partnership. Beyond-Autism is just beginning their third year and they are so excited to be partnering with Picazzo’s to benefit some amazing kids. They are currently renovating a new space that they hope to have complete by January 2016. Picazzo’s staff will be available to help with painting the inside of the facility and provide other final touches where needed.
A lot of the students are gluten-free, so they will be invited for many future social evenings at Picazzo’s to practice their social and life skills dining at a restaurant while enjoying Picazzo’s amazing food. We hope to have some pizza making events and assist wherever we can.
Beginning October 1, Beyond-Autism will receive a portion of each sweet Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie sold from all 5 Picazzo’s locations dessert menu.
Picazzo’s cookie is gluten-free and served with your choice of premium organic Madagascar vanilla bean or coconut ice cream (dairy free) and drizzled with your choice of organic chocolate, raspberry or salted caramel sauce. It is very shareable! Please come by and enjoy a cookie and know you are supporting a very wonderful school in our valley that provides amazing skills and opportunities for children diagnosed with Autism and their families.
