Why do I love Picazzos?

As a lover of food myself (really, really good food that is), what I love about Picazzos the most is how they never forget one of the most important ingredients... love.

But it surely doesn't stop there. I have a handful of clients who are celiac and gluten intolerant, another handful with many food allergies, and yet another who just want to eat healthier. It's easy to turn them onto Picazzos, and I feel good about it. Rick Freedman, owner and one of the kindest people I know, is quite the stickler about creating clean, allergen-friendly options in his menu. Filled with local Arizona ingredients, Picazzos menu touts organic, non-GMO oils, scratch-made gluten free doughs and soups, organic and gluten free sauces and dressing, cage free eggs and responsibly raised meats, and so much more.

If nothing else, I'd go there for the unrefined Himalayan sea salt on the tables!

As Picazzos' dietitian, we'll be dishing up new articles each month, sprinkle in a few classes, and continue to educate the community on nourishing, wholesome, allergen friendly food. Connect with us via our mailing list or facebook to stay up-to-date. Lastly, do take a minute to download and browse our entire menu's nutritional fact information and allergen charts for your dining peace of mind.
